Based on previous studies, women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are at a higher risk of COVID -19. Although numerous investigations have assessed the epidemiological and clinical aspects of this virus in pregnancy, few articles have clearly emphasized the role of COVID-19 in increasing the risk of GDM. In this narrative review, we aimed to assess the relationship between COVID-19 and GDM.
